The project is a first time, unique opportunity for fans of Xtreme 4x4 to be directly involved in a custom build. Xtreme 4x4 picked the chassis, but the rest is up to the online voter. The 17 categories to vote on cover everything from axels to paint and transfer cases to lockers.
“We wanted to find a way to get the viewers involved. Usually you see pre-spec builds on shows, but this time what goes in and on the vehicle is decided exclusively by the vote,” said Royal Purple’s Randy Fisher. “It’s a huge mix and match to choose from, and we can’t wait to see how this Blog Buggy turns out,” he added.
Online voting opened this month for Xtreme 4x4’s Blog Buggy presented by Royal Purple and will continue through the end of March. Viewers will learn the results of their votes as progress on the project will be followed during several episodes of the show airing in early April.
