Hagen and Beckman bring Full Throttle to Houston Pro Bass Shops

As the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals presented by Pennzoil prepares to get under way at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston this weekend, Funny Car drivers Matt Hagan and Jack Beckman are teaming up with series sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink, professional tools manufacturer and distributor Matco Tools, and premier outdoor retailer Bass Pro Shops for two nights of promotional appearances prior to the 24th annual race. The Don Schumacher Racing teammates are scheduled to make separate appearances at Houston-area Bass Pro Shops on successive nights this week.

Hagan, driver of the DieHard Dodge Charger, who raced to the first victory of his Funny Car career at last year’s NHRA Spring Nationals, will sign autographs and greet fans at the Bass Pro Shops at 1000 Bass Pro Drive in Pearland, TX, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. Beckman, who picked up his most recent Wally at the VisitMyrtleBeach.com NHRA Four-Wide Nationals two weeks ago, will appear at the Bass Pro Shops at 5000 Katy Mills Circle in nearby Katy from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 28.

A Matco Tools Muscle Cart 440, valued at more than $900, will be awarded to a lucky fan during a drawing following each appearance at 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to register for the drawing upon arrival at Bass Pro Shops and must be present to win.

Free samples of Full Throttle Energy Drink will be distributed from 6 to 8 p.m. during both nights of appearances. Fans also will have the opportunity to pick up giveaways, such as T-shirts and caps, and can check out an Army Top Fuel show car upon entrance to the store.
