The Speedway’s D-shaped oval track has been host to NASCAR races since 1997. Race day will feature a full day of cars on the track with NNS qualifying followed by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practices. At 2:30 p.m. (PST), the green flag will drop for the start of The Royal Purple 300.
“We anticipate a great weekend with the race fans during Auto Club weekend,” said Mark McFann, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “With a reputation for some of the most exciting five-wide racing on the NASCAR circuit, the Royal Purple 300 was a natural pairing of high performance and excitement that we look for in a partnership.”
