What RP Products Did The Ford Raptor Team Use?

If you've been reading the blog, you know that Royal Purple was one of the proud sponsors of the Ford Raptor Dakar Rally Team. The team of American female journalist Sue Mead and Darren Skilton lead the only American independent team to victory in the Open Production Class. Mead made history as the first American female driver of record. Then with the win, added the accolade of first woman to win an auto class at Dakar. Amidst all of the excitement, you've been wondering what Royal Purple products got the Ford Raptor through the race to a victory right?

During the race the Royal Purple products lived up to its slogan of "The Motor Oil That Outperforms."  Skilton chose Royal Purple lubricants for the vehicle and mechanic Dan Moore said, "In the motor, transmission and differentials we use Royal Purples oils exclusively. In addition to Royal Purple's full synthetic racing oil XPR 5w20, the Ford Raptor used the following Royal Purple products:  radiator coolant Purple Ice, steering fluid Max EZ, Max-Gear 75w90 for the front axle and Max Gear 75w140 for the rear axle, Ultra Performance Grease and our all purpose lubricant MaxFilm.
