Racing fans should be on the look out for Royal Purple  as we head to the track in 2011with several exciting events on tap for the new year.

As of Jan. 1, 2011, the current Houston Raceway Park located in Baytown, TX will be named Royal Purple Raceway. Royal Purple is excited to work with the Angel family and their staff as they continue to host top notch drag strip and dirt oval racing events. These include NHRA, NMRA, USMTS and UTI Texas Drags. The Speed Channel's PINKS All Out recently returned to the track in October to film and episode and the track will host filming of Royal Purple's The Forum Wars - Season Two, a webisode series that pits competitors from feuding forums against each other on the track.

Coming May 6, 2011 will be the Royal Purple 200 presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts at the Darlington Raceway. The race is part of the NASCAR Nationwide series and will be held under the lights on the track that has been dubbed "Too Tough to Tame."

If you've ever wanted to experience Formula or Road Racing and learn from top notch instructors, then you know about The Bertil Roos Racing School. The Bertil Roos Racing School recently announced that Royal Purple will be the official oil supplier for the 2011 year. Royal Purple lubricants were selected for the best engine and transmission protection available, and will be used not only in their formula cars but also school street/training cars and hauling equipment.
